How do I check availability?
Please dont hesitate to contact us through whatsapp or Email us at info@pininosadventures.net. Our team responds within 24 hours to ensure you get your preferred time slots.
Can I make a telephone reservation?
You can always phone us on any of the numbers given on our website to make a reservation. Nevertheless, to guarantee seats, you should pay the full amount of the reservation cost. This ensures we can prepare the equipment and guides for your specific group size.
How can I pay?
We accept a variety of secure payment methods to make your booking process as smooth as possible:
Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express processed through our secure terminal.
PayPal: Safe and instant online transfers.
Bank Transfers: Local and international wire transfers (must be completed 48 hours before tour).
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. That’s why, when you book with us, you have the flexibility to change your travels. You can also re-book when it suits you. Change or cancel your travel plans up to 48 hours before departure, with no fees. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of the departure date/time not get a refund.
How do I know you are a legitimate company?
We have been in the business for more than 25 years. Thousands of people have now taken our excursions.You can read the thousands of verified traveler reviews on our website. They are also available on other 3rd party sites like TripAdvisor, Google, and Facebook. You can also just call us anytime and speak to one of our friendly members of staff!
We are members of the Costa Rican Tourism Board. The Spanish name for the board is Instituto Costarricense de Turismo. It is the government agency responsible for promoting sustainable tourism in Costa Rica.
Do you pick me up from my Airbnb- Private residence, Hotels?
Yes, we will happily schedule your pickup from your Airbnb or Private Excursion. As soon as you arrive at your destination let us know your exact location. For some locations, we have special nearby meeting
Can I be dropped off at another hotel or location?
Please ask our Pininos Adventures Team before booking if you want to be dropped off at another location. We will try our best to accommodate your inquiry. We can't take luggage like suitcases and backpacks on our coach excursion. We can accommodate you on our Private Excursion.
I have special dietary requirements – will they be catered for?
Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any food requirements or allergies. We’ll pass the information to our provider. We offer vegetarian and gluten-free options at no extra cost. Please inform us at least 24 hours before the excursion starts.
Can I skip the transportation and take my own car?
We recommend our hassle-free transportation from your hotel or Airbnb. Alternatively, you can take your car. You may leave the car at our meeting point. During the activities, we will transport you. After the excursion, we will bring you back to the car. Please contact our customer service if you want to bring your own car.
How many people can sign up for an excursion?
In our excursions, we create small groups. This setup lets you enjoy the freedom of movement. You can interact closely with your surroundings. It also ensures you get more personalized attention from our guides. This small size ensures that your group will not encroach on your personal experience. Most of our transportations fits 12 persons
How can I find my Driver at The Airport?
Pininos Adventure sends a representative to the "International Arrivals" area when a client is being collected at the airport. The representative helps fellow passengers with their luggage. They also guide them to the vehicle. Please find the Pininos Adventures representative at the exit.
This representative always has a sign with the customer's name and the Pininos Adventures logo.Be careful at the airport. There are many vendors in the hallway. We recommend you do not stop to talk to them. If for some reason you can't find our representative, please contact us by phone or E-mail.We
NEVER ask anyone outside our company to take you to your hotel. If someone offers to take you from the airport to your hotel on our behalf, refuse them. Confirm they wear our uniform before accepting the offer. Also, if they try to charge more, refuse their offer.We are not responsible for any other company or its shares
What do you know About Tipping In Costa Rica!!
Costa Rica has a very different approach to tipping than the U.S. Gratuites do not have strict guidelines. Nevertheless, some general customs should be observed when traveling.It depends, of course, on what type of service you are using. The restaurants already have the tip included. If someone is cleaning your room, then maybe $5/a day. Grabbing your luggage, we would suggest about $2/luggage. If you are doing an Uber or another transportation service, then $10 - $20 is plenty. but if you're going a long way, giving a little extra can be a good idea. Once again, go by feel, and if it was exceptional, add a little extra. It is noticed and appreciated.About the tour guides, a tip between $15 and $30 is considered polite, depending on how many people are in your groupWhen heading out on a sports fishing trip, it's customary to tip the crew! The standard tip is 15% to 20% of the charter cost. Please ask your travel consultant for an exact amount, and they can give the charter cost.
Tipping in Costa Rica – Dollars or Colones?
You can tip in Costa Rican colones or USD. Locals readily accept USD. The exchange rate is getting higher, so they get more colones to the dollar.
Can I modify a private Tour?"
You can use the same itinerary as our regular trips. You can add special activities and inclusions to the itinerary. How long are your private excursions?
Your private excursion is as long as you want it to be. It can be a one-activity trip for approximately 2 hours. It could also be a full-day adventure with more activities.
The guides we choose for you are specialized in personal guided excursions. You can be always assured of personal attention.
You will be able to stop and take pictures. You can have lunch when you want at the many places. Your guide will recommend these places along the way.
