Miravalles Volcano Tour

Miravalles Volcano Tour ! An untamed mountain covered in rainforest and letting us safely visit the only walkable crater in Costa Rica . Our day on this trip is very diverse. Along our drive to the volcano we will visit one of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls and if you liked to, you can bring your swimsuits and swim under the majestic water curtain

Be ready to take a horseback ride, or a tractor, to the starting site of the guided hike. This easy approximate 40 minute nature hike will take you on trails through the lush tropical forest

Where your guide will point out interesting plants and show you any available wildlife.

Along the way you will stop to admire several cascading waterfalls.

After a busy day you may have worked up a hearty appetite for the typical Costa Rican lunch that will be served next.

The mid-day meal, known as a casada, is known for its generous portions that include a type of meat/protein complemented with beans and rice, pico de gallo, which is the traditional fresh chopped salsa, salad, tortillas and often fried ripe plantains.

Enjoy the beautiful natural hot springs and paint yourself  with multi-colored mud created by the various minerals.

To end the tour, you take your transportation back to your hotel.
